Americans Against Fracking

LE-OH NO! The increased economic growth due to fracking is indisputable. In Texas alone, the oil and gas industry employs millions of residents and contributes billions of dollars to the economy across the state. But it isn’t an either or choice between the economy and the environment. For instance, thanks to fracking the increased use of natural gas is helping to lower U.S. air emissions and in Texas, the fracking process actually adds more water into the hydrogeological cycle. As development technologies improve, the environmental footprint continues to shrink.
